SKF best at Corporate Social Responsibility

SKF has been chosen as the best Swedish company at Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) information in the yearly web ranking carried out by Hallvarsson och Halvarsson. SKF gets full marks in the survey and this is the first time a Swedish company has accomplished this. SKF shares the number one place in Europe with thirteen other global companies like Siemens, Unilever and Wärtsilä. "This is a recognition of our way of communicating our efforts, the basis for which has been our value "openness". We exchange views with our stakeholders and actively try to satisfy their need of reliable and clear information", says Bengt Olof Hansson, Vice President, Corporate Sustainability at SKF. "SKF - the winner of this year's ranking in Sweden - clearly shows that the company purposefully works with the CSR questions, both regarding the amount of information and the quality of the information demanded by the financial market, " says Miriam Thunborg, who is responsible for the survey at Hallvarsson och Halvarsson. H&H Webranking ranks 700 corporate web sites every year. The survey shows that 78 percent of the 700 largest European companies now work with CSR.
