A company that makes parts for airplane engines, helicopter transmissions and landing wheels is cutting jobs at its Lebanon, N.H., manufacturing plant. Timken Aerospace told WMUR-TV that 45 of the plant's 700 workers will be laid off in two weeks. The company said the poor economy has led to decreased demand for its products, and that its other facilities have experienced larger layoffs. Company officials said the workers could be rehired if the economy improves.
