Workers Unrest at NRB Bearings Hyderabad Plant

NRB Bearings Ltd has announced that the permanent workmen at the Company's Hyderabad plant have stopped work since May 18, 2009, inspite of ongoing negotiations on the union's charter of demands. The Management has refused to continue negotiations unless the workmen resume work and restore normalcy. The Production operations on critical machines are being maintained with the help of management staff. The stock closed on May 15, 2009 at Rs.35.10. The stock hit an intraday high of Rs.36.15 and low of Rs.35.10. The total traded quantity was 1318 compared to 2 week average of 1121.
