Royal Bearing, Inc. Announces Integration of Bearing Inventory Purchased from Maytag Facility

Royal Bearing, Inc. (www.royalbearing.com), the successful bidder at auction for the bearing inventory of the former Maytag Manufacturing facility located in Newton, Iowa, has announced that it has fully integrated the complete inventory purchase into their extensive bearing database.
Maytag, a world-class manufacturer of residential appliances, was founded in Newton, Iowa approximately 113 years ago and is known for its advertisements featuring the lonely Maytag repairman who became a favorite of many Americans.
“We are very pleased that we were the successful bidder in the Maytag facility purchase,” said Clarence Hopkins, President of Royal Bearing Inc. “Bearing purchases such as this, which contains a broad range of SKF, Timken, Fafnir, FAG, Dodge, Linkbelt, and McGill bearings,* enable Royal to continually expand both the depth and range of our inventory. This purchase is very similar to the giant purchases we made recently at the former Jeep plant in Toledo, Ohio and the massive 3.1 million square foot GM plant in Baltimore, Maryland.”
