The Ninth National Friction Reduction and Anti-Wear Materials and Technologies Academic Proseminar & Academic Committee Conference Were Held

From Aug.4th to 5th, the Ninth National Friction Reduction and Anti-Wear Materials and Technologies Academic Proseminar & Academic Committee Conference were held at Henan University of Science and Technology. About 70 experts from the countrywide universities and research institutes and about 30 teacher and students from this university have participated in the conference.
The conference was started at 8:30 on Aug.4th, which was presided by Professor Zhang Yongchen from Henan University of Science and Technology.
Xue Qunji, the academician of China Engineering Academy, Song Shuzhogn, the Vice-president of Henan University of Science and Technology, Li Jian, the Vice-Director& General Clerk of Friction Branch of Chinese Mechanical Engineering Society, Xiong Xiang, the director of Friction Reduction and Anti-Wear Materials and Technology Committee and Xiao Hongbin, the Vice-chairman of CPPCC have seated at the platform and addressed separately.
From 9:30-12:00, the conference was presided by Professor Yao Pingping from Central South University. Xin Yuansheng from Tsinghua University, Li Jian from Wuhan Material Protecting Institute, Xiongxiang from Central South University, Gao Yimin from Xi’an Jiaotong University and Zhou Feng from Lanzhou Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences (LICP) have given report separately such as “the Principle and Application Solution of Metal Wear Self-repair Technology”, “Friction Research on Al-Sc Alloy and High Concentration Hydrogen Peroxide Materials”, “Research on Carbon and Ceramic Composites”, “the Development of Research in Anti-Wear Materials” and “the Engineering Materials of Special Impregnation”,etc.
On Aug.4th, and the afternoon on 5th, the conference has held three special report meetings of Friction and Wear, Friction Reduction and Lubrication and Trig and Surface Technology, at which, the participants have communicated about the latest research result of the China friction industry. After the meetings, the participants have visited the Material Lab and Friction Lab of Henan University of Science and Technology.
The conference was sponsored by the Friction Reduction and Anti-Wear Materials and Technology Committee of Friction Branch, China Mechanical Engineering Society, and was undertaken by the Henan Engineering Research Center for Wear of Material.
