QBC Unveils Plastic Ball Bearings

Quality Bearing and Components (QBC) has introduced plastic plain ball bearings that feature glass or stainless-steel balls arranged in single and double row construction. Identified as the BBPRIX and BBPRIXM Series, these ball bearings are stocked in both inch and metric sizes. They are designed to fit shafts ranging from 3/16in to 1in (5mm to 25mm) diameters. Their dynamic load ratings range from 17lb to 127lb (58N to 565N). QBC said that these bearings are suitable for washdown and corrosive environments. They incorporate acetal raceways and are widely used for light-duty applications. QBC stocks miniature bearings, plastic bearings, rod end bearings, spherical bearings, pillow blocks, sintered bronze bushings, radial ball bearings, thrust bearings and washers, sleeve bearings, needle bearings, inner races, roller clutches, guide wheels and rail systems, linear ball bearings, inner and outer ring spacers and shafting. QBC can provide custom-made bearings and shafting to the customer print. It also offers on-site relubing of bearings in a certified class 1000 cleanroom.
