Motion Industries to acquire North American assets of BC Bearing Engineers

Motion Industries, Inc. has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire substantially all of the North American assets of BC Bearing Engineers Limited. BC Bearing Engineers is a Canada-based bearing and power transmission distributor. Motion Industries is the industrial parts group of Genuine Parts Company, a distributor of automotive replacement parts, industrial replacement parts, office products and electrical/electronic materials. The North American assets of BC Bearing Engineers include BC Bearing, US Bearings And Drives and Norcan Fluid Power, Ltd. The transaction is expected to close on or about March 1, 2010.
