Brammer Fundraisers Reach £100,000 for Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK

Ian Ritchie, Managing Director, and (left) Nicola Sivori, Charity Committee Chairperson at Brammer UK, part of Europe’s leading distributor of Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) products and services, present a cheque for £25,000 to Karen England, Director of Fundraising at Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK. This presentation, which took place during Brammer’s highly successful Manufacturing Forum held at the Williams F1 Conference Centre in Oxfordshire, brings the total raised by Brammer to £100,000 since early 2007. Make-A-Wish Foundation® UK grants magical wishes to children and young people fighting life threatening illnesses and has granted more than 5,300 wishes since the charity was established in 1986. Brammer has already fully funded the costs of more than 20 magical wishes to be granted for children and young people. Fundraising efforts undertaken by Brammer staff nationwide have included a parachute jump, coast-to-coast bike ride, head shaving and iron-man triathlon. Nicola Sivori commented: “We are delighted to have reached our target of £100,000 thanks to the enthusiasm shown by Brammer team members across the UK. Make-a-Wish works hard to bring a little happiness to children facing life-threatening illnesses and it’s an organisation with which we are proud to be associated.” 、
