Schaeffler Group Greater China Automotive Aftermarket grandly held its 4th distributor meeting in Xiang Ming Hotel located in the beautiful Huang Shan, Anhui province, 80 distributors coming from nearly 20 provinces and cities attended the meeting.
Dr. ZHANG Yilin, Automotive President of Schaeffler Group Greater China participated the meeting in person and made presentation on the status quo of automotive business in Greater China and current hot issues like“ Schaeffler’s combination with Continental AG”. Dr. Zhang pointed out, that in the future the combined Schaeffler-Continental Group will offer the whole product portfolio ranging from automotive mechanic products, electronics products even tires. The comprehensive and diversified product combination will definitely expand Schaeffler’s opportunities for further development and upgrade our competitiveness.
Mr. Rico MUCHA, Director of Schaeffler Group Greater China Automotive Aftermarket made a speech afterwards, explaining the market development strategy of Schaeffler Group Greater China Automotive Aftermarket in the coming three years. Schaeffler will emphasize the development of major vehicle models, extend and optimize the product lines, upgrade the product performance and strengthen the competitiveness of distribution network so as to keep the business development of Automotive Aftermarket in full swing.
In order to make the participants better understand the advantages of Schaeffler Group Automotive business, this distributor meeting took the lead in inviting several technical experts of OEM manufacturer to attend the meeting, who have shared many successful cases of Schaeffler in OEM business. The introduction reinforced the confidence of distributors. The successful development of OEM business will undoubtedly propel the business of automotive aftermarket.
One session of this meeting is the product seminar, in which the 2010 brand-new products of the three major brands under Schaeffler Group, INA, FAG, LuK were introduced to the audience. Participants also held in-depth communication on the updated marketing support policies and market issues in different local markets. When new products were introduced on site, many distributors requested to place order immediately, pushing the meeting atmosphere into another climax.
An authorization ceremony for the 2010 annual distributors was held during the meeting, the awarding ceremony for “2009 Schaeffler Excellent Distributor” was also held to present 10 distributors with different awards. The ceremony has concluded the success of Schaeffler Automotive Aftermarket while expecting for further breakthrough in the year 2010.
