Due to the worldwide growing interest in bearings of larger sizes, ZKL Group has prepared a strategic plan of extending of ZKL bearings production of this assortment. The project is introducing the spherical and special bearings to the diameter of 1600 mm. Now in implementing area the intention is already fulfilled by first bearings of these types.
One of the representatives whereon the development of large-size bearings was carried out is thrust spherical roller bearing 294/710, the largest and the heaviest ZKL thrust spherical roller bearing, which is unique also due to special heat treatment of separate components for increasing the durability in mounting and is designed for the energetic industry in Russia.
The representative of large-size spherical roller bearings is a type 239/950, which is characterized by thinness of bearing rings, which are markedly susceptible to deformation. In this series of bearings the production technology has to pursue an analysis of risk deformation at one by one technological operations.
The roller bearing NU29/800 and the ball bearing 618/900 are other realized types. All of these mentioned products represent a new range of products, which complete the current range of bearings produced in ZKL Brno, a.s.
