SKF Launches a Universal Boot Kit for Light Commercial Vehicles

SKF has extended its range of OE-quality universal boot kits by unveiling a brand-new kit that has been specifically developed for light commercial vehicles. As a precision parts supplier with a product portfolio that has been shaped by the needs of today's vehicle technicians, SKF is fully aware of the need to supply a universal boot kit that guarantees fast and flexible repair every time. Each kit contains: 1 universal boot 1 long clamp 1 short clamp 2 x 90 gr. bags of grease SKF's latest universal boot kit (VKJP 01003) is available as a single pack and the cut-to-fit boot is suitable for all current light commercial vehicle CV Joint dimensions, ranging from 75mm to 145mm. Each boot is manufactured using high-quality stretchy rubber compound making the boot extremely wear-resistant. Each boot features two different diameters on the shaft side and five different diameters on the CV-Joint side to guarantee a tight fit which means increased water-resistance. To ensure the metal clamps can be safely fastened onto the boot, there are also non-skid ridges between each flat rim. The light commercial vehicle universal boot can be fitted quickly and easily with cones or air-operated fitting tools and the CV Joint does not need to be removed from the 'shaft during the repair process.
