Igus to Exhibit New Products at Pack Expo 2010

Igus® will be exhibiting at booth number 6906 in the East Hall during Pack Expo 2010. New products on show will include a hygienic linear slide table and an adjustable linear guide carriage.
Igus has combined its dry-running iglide® plastics with stainless steel to offer a range of maintenance-free, chemical- and corrosion-resistant DryLin® linear bearing solutions for the food-processing, bottling, and packaging industries. These robust machine components can withstand many elements, including continuous temperatures up to 482 degrees Fahrenheit, high loads, and liquids, such as detergents and other chemicals.
One new addition to the range is igus’ DryLin® HTSC-HYD linear slide table. HTSC-HYD is easy to clean, chemical and corrosion resistant, and maintenance and lubrication free. HYD stands for ‘Hygienic Design'.
Another recent product launch was DryLin W 'Turn-To-Fit': an adjustable linear guide carriage. This innovative invention allows clearance for a given application to be set simply by using an Allen key. A clicking sound means each revolution is audible and allows the carriage to be adjusted to a set torque level to achieve the required fit. Currently available in a zinc die-cast material, DryLin W Turn-To-Fit carriages are 100 percent lubrication-free.
Other products at the show will include examples from the company’s plain and spherical bearing, cable carrier and continuous-flex cable ranges. All igus products offer longer life at lower cost.
Pack Expo runs from October 31-November 3 at McCormick Place in Chicago.
