BRADENTON, USA - Folmer Technology has developed bearings that have a high grade lubrication which is typically used in a slightly different form in the aero space industry. They utilize a lighter seal than ceramic bearings and will take the cyclist more quickly and more easily at full speed. For Hawk Racing France, the official dealer for France of the US based wheels and bearings manufacturer Hawk Racing, the Folmer Technology is their answer to ceramic bearings in cycling. Therefore the company launched a wide range of training and aero wheels all using Folmer Technology bearings. This new bearing technology is also implemented in a new bottom bracket, put on the market by Hawk Racing. The Folmer Technology saves another 10% in weight related to the previous ceramic version. The performance is even much better as Hawk Racing claims up to 80% less energy than the next most efficient bottom bracket on the market.
