(May 17, 2011) BANGALORE, INDIA: Ahmedabad-based Precision Bearings Pvt. Ltd., a bearing manufacturer and exporters, on Tuesday announced selection of SAP Business All-In-One from SAP AG. SAP in partnership with CMC chose SAP’s All-in-One solution for Industrial Manufacturing and Components (IMC) - a solution for engineering industry - which will be useful for the company to maintain better control on inventory and production costs with enhanced process visibility across the system, said a press release. The solution will cater to the diverse and growing demands of its international customers whilst maintaining higher quality standards, the release added. Precision Bearing recognizes SAP’s business software solution to have brought in process consolidation across 24 automated lines of business, appropriate tracking and informed decision making capabilities. With vision, focus and continuous investments in R&D on IMC verticals and sub-verticals bagged by SAP’s best business practices, Precision bearing aims to achieve its vision to provide innovative and eco-friendly technologies and products for the benefit of the society.
