NTN-SNR Presents its Magnetic Sensor at the General Congress of the "Société Française de Physique"

(July 4, 2011) After winning the “Prix Yves Rocard” in June 2010, NTN-SNR is invited to present its innovation, the Tunnel Magneto-Resistive sensors (TMR) at the XXI General Congress of the “Société Française de Physique” which will be held from 4th to 8th July 2011 in Bordeaux. This is a great honor for NTN-SNR to be part of the prestigious list of speakers, including Jean-Marie Lehn, Nobel Prize in Chemistry, Cédric Villani, Fields Medal in Mathematics, Serge Haroche, gold medal of the CNRS, Georg Maret, 2011 Gentner-Kastler Franco-German prize… The scientific community recognition rewards both the great potential of the TMR technology developed by NTN-SNR, particularly for applications to measure speed and position, and the way NTN-SNR was able to complete its project in collaboration with the Université de Nancy, SENSITEC and MIND.. NTN-SNR is implementing the TMR in several industrial projects, where the sensor benefits from this technology: ultra low power consumption, very high sensitivity which allows the sensor's magnetic target to be removed and a greater tolerance of positioning, better performance in extreme conditions (high temperatures, magnetic fields).
