The Construction of Automotive Bearing Technological Transformation Project is at Full Speed

The automotive bearing technological transformation project in Puling industrail park is the provincial key project with planning land area of 300 mu, building area of 69,650 square meters and total investment of RMB 219 million. The project is for developing and producing bearing equiped with automobile and engineering machinery, promoting wheel hub bearing units for supporting commercial vehicle, rolling mill bearings for precision mechanical metallurgy, wind turbine bearings and spindle bearings and other precision high-tech products to meet the supporting bearing demand in China market, instead of import ones. Up to now, the project has been invested RMB 30 million and has entered into phase 1 plant construction. It is said that the main project of No. 1 Steel Plant will be finished by the end of this year. After the phase 1 being put into production, the annual production capacity of automotive bearing will reach 7.63 million units with newly added production capacity of 3.63 million units, newly added sales income 194.85 million yuan, new export value of 80 million and 590 new jobs.
