The Monthly Production of Bearing Steel from Benxi Steel Group Corporation Reached Over 10,000 Tons for the First time

The production of bearing steel from Benxi Steel Group Corporation reached 13,200 tons in August, creating a new record. It is another fruit resulting from improving the core competitiveness of the corporation for meeting market demand of the special steel and actively carry out technological research. Bearing steel is an important metallurgical product, one of the special steel, and an internationally recognized measurement for a company's technological level and product quality. The bearing steel is widely used in industrial machining, railway transportation, automotive, defense industry and other fields for production of the rolling elements of rolling bearings and rings, some of the large cross-section bearings are also used to producing machinery tools and moulds. In recent years, Benxi Steel Group Corporation promoted the technological transformation, and the equipment technology has been greatly improved. Therefore, the corporation decided to smelting bearing steel with converter. Early in 2007, Benxi Steel Group Corporation began the trial production of bearing steel with converter. After testing from national laboratories and other authorities, some indicators have reached technical quality standards of the Swedish No.1 company SKF. In order to further expand the market share, the sales staff are trying to creat new business model under the premise of continuously improve the product quality and to make customer satisfaction and order rise. It is reported that, Benxi Steel Group Corporation will take this opportunity to further expand specifications of the bearing steel, improve product quality stablely, expand market share, and strive to build its flagship product.
