NTN Corporation (hereafter NTN) has achieved to commercialize a compact (more space-saving) variable frequency controller designed specifically for the control of small and medium size parts feeders as a series. The lineup features two types of “Small Size Variable Frequency Controller” to suit customer applications and purposes; the standard type and high-performance type.
The high-performance type controller for small and medium size parts feeders, which are capable of reducing electricity consumption by up to 30% and include features such as constant amplitude and automatic resonance tracking functions, and the medium size parts feeder controller brings the total “Small Size Variable Frequency Controller” lineup to four models.
Parts feeders are essential for supplying components to certain locations in a plant at a speed to suit a range of conditions, including the operation of the manufacturing line, alignment of components, and remaining quantity of components. Feed speed and an easy-to-use controller can greatly impact production efficiency. This new series includes a variety of convenient features such as an external speed switch function, work shortage detection function and inching motion function to improve work efficiency of manufacturing lines and setup.
NTN will respond to the needs of various customers by continuously seeking after more convenient parts feeder and controller.

- Volume: 1/3 (can be used with small parts feeders, high-performance type)
(compared to conventional unit) 2/3 (can be used with medium parts feeders, standard type)

- Resonance tracking function (available with high-performance type)

A speed control function via external analog voltages has been added for more accurate speed control.
