MSV Brno 2011
ZKL Group as traditionally attended the International Engineering Trade Fair in Brno. This year MSV Brno took place in a little bit non-traditional term from 3rd to 7th October 2011 together with the trade fair of transport and logistics. The trade fair resembled past few years when the interest of exhibitors to present their products declined. Perhaps only in comparison with the last year there was visible slightly increased interest of exhibitors and visitors.
The company FAG was also among exhibitors of bearings after a long time with its presentation of special tapered unit for a new tram. The company SKF did not take place there as almost traditionally.
Our exposition was focused on presentation of our factories and production program of bearings for railway vehicles. Such the icing on the cake was exhibition of the special racing car Škoda 130RS of 1977 which won the race in Monte Carlo in its category 1300 ccm and in the total order got 12 place. In those years Škoda cars were completely fitted with ZKL bearings. ZKL exposition presented our effort to come back to this mark.
Regarding visitors of our stand there were more or less regular customers and perhaps more interest was appeared from customers from Russian speaking areas.
On Thursday 6th October 2011 the co-operation between ZKL Group and Endowment Fund of Children´s Oncology KRTEK was officially announced at the stand ZKL. ZKL Group enters the charity project Cyclists for Children as a general partner. The symbolic ceremony and signing of philanthropic contract was held with the participation of Mr. Jiri Prasil, General Manager of ZKL Group, Ms. Martina Smukova, President of Endowment Fund of Children´s Oncology KRTEK and Mr. Ludo Nazarej, spiritual father of the project Cyclists for Children.
