Kaman Appoints Gary Yingling to Lead Its Value-Added Services Group

Bloomfield, Connecticut (January 6, 2012) — Kaman Industrial Technologies Corporation today announced the appointment of Gary Yingling as Director and General Manager, Shops & Services, reporting to David Mayer, Vice President, Marketing & Services. Gary will direct the fabrication, assembly, production, material management, capital assets, planning/forecasting, control and operational quality of our network of value–add shops and assembly operations throughout North America. He will also direct plans for operational improvements, efficiencies, and overall quality of production services to customers.

Prior to joining Kaman, Gary worked for Stanadyne Corp. as Director, Global Accounts and at Molex, Inc. as Director and General Manager of their Industrial Communications & Software business with operations in Waterloo, Ontario; Normandy, France; and Singapore. Before joining Molex, Gary worked for Rockwell Automation for 18 years. After serving as Industry Sales Manager and Director, Global Industry Sales based in Cleveland and Milwaukee, Gary transitioned to the Asia Pacific region from 1995 – 2005 as Director of Sales and Marketing for all of Asia and the South Pacific while residing in Singapore, Hong Kong and Seoul. He also had special assignments in Europe prior to becoming Director, Marketing – Manufacturing and Process Solutions. Gary started his career with U.S. Steel Corporation and held positions of increasing responsibility in his 15 year tenure with them including superintendent – utilities, shops & services, pipe mill maintenance superintendent, and manager of process engineering for four USS plants.
Gary is a Vietnam–era veteran of the U.S. Air Force and lives in Avon Lake, Ohio with his wife Linda. He will be based out of the Garfield Heights, Ohio location of Kaman’s Minarik division and regularly spend time at Kaman’s various fabrication and assembly shops across North America.
