Silicon Steel Productivity in Baosteel being Increased Steadily

In 2011, the Silicon Steel Department in Baosteel Co., Ltd. has finished the library of 1.2477 million tons, with 23600 tons more than annual targets. Among which, the output of the high brand NGO silicon steel and laser scribing GO silicon steel with high magnet strength has been increased by 33% and 17% respectively compared with that at same period. The Silicon Steel Department has overcome the difficulties from the production data of original line being raised, putting into operation of the Second Phase and the construction of the Third Phase and the Fight on " Three Lines " for opening up the high end market. Besides, the annual overhaul with largest scale and longest time in history in the NGO slicon steel zone has been finished as well at same time. The Silicon Steel Department broke the bottle neck for the productivity and reduced the cost for production based on the consistency in process, the management of quality technology and the management of production and equipment. Through the development of production line of professional division of research company, the solutions for division of specific production line has been made, the advantages of each line has been brought into full play, and maximization of productivity has been realized. Through optimizing of organization for production, development of material auto substitution system, the efficiency of using of resources has been improved. And at same time, new process technology has been developed to improve the quality and the cost on site. A series of measures have been taken to ensure smooth running of the production on each line.
