For the fourth consecutive year, Schaeffler Brasil has been awarded with the “Moto Honda Certificate of Merit” for its performance in 2011. The award was handed over during a ceremony to acknowledge eleven out of 137 suppliers that achieved the quality rates and met the quotation delivery terms, thus contributing to Moto Honda’s cost reduction targets.
Always focused on quality, Schaeffler is constantly attuned with the requirements valued by the customers. “It’s very gratifying to be recognized, and keeping this outstanding position for the years to come is even more motivating, as we see that our efforts and dedication in meeting the needs of Moto Honda are exceeding our customer’s expectations”, asseverates Senior Vice President Sales and R&D Industrial – South America at Schaeffler Brasil, Antonio Marcondes de Almeida Filho.
The development of Moto Honda products is carried out by global teams. So, the Brazilian Schaeffler team works in cooperation with Honda Brasil, as well as with Schaeffler’s development teams in Germany and Japan. From the very beginning on, the Japanese teams have been playing an important role within this process, acting as a contacting bridge to the Engineering Department at Moto Honda’s headquarters. “Thanks to this global synergy we could achieve this recognition and also develop more business with Honda”, points out Sales Manager OEM Development Industrial at Schaeffler Brasil, Celso de Souza e Silva.
