Arash’s submission, a walking quadrotor aerial vehicle, is a hybrid robot capable of both aerial and terrestrial locomotion. It features a unique compliant mechanism design that makes it possible to use a single actuator set for both walking and flying. Four linear bearing sets are used in the leg mechanism, and the actuators also use ball bearings.
