Baosteel signed the new Strategic Cooperation Framework Agreement with FAW for the more Spread Field and Further Level Development

The new strategic cooperation framework agreement ceremony was held in the headquarters of the first automobile group company between Baosteel Group Cooperation and FAW with the cooperation history review and the common development future prospect for both parties in a friendly and warm atmosphere. Those who signed on the agreements were the presents from both parties: Baosteel group co., LTD., chairman of the board Xulejiang, The first automobile group chairman of the board secretary of the party committee Xujian. The presents for the signing ceremony also included: Baosteel shares general manager Maguojiang, the first automobile group company deputy general manager Jinyi, Faw car general manager Zhangpijie, FAW Liberation Company the general manager Wanglizhi.
Both parties cooperated and made great progress in material localization, light weight, new material research and development, JIT distribution, information construction, etc. for many years. The new signing for the strategic cooperation agreement indicated a more spread and further level development on the base of years of win-win cooperation for both parties. According to the agreement, more extensive cooperation space will be expanded in the cost and value management for supply chain, the new research and development for new material, the early involvement for new automobile type, material localization, aluminum plate research and development.
As is pointed out on the signing ceremony by Xujian, for a long period, the good strategic partnership was founded between Baosteel and FAW, which opened a classic cooperation mode between domestic automobile factory and steel mill in JIT distribution, informatization, and “1+ 3N” cross region service.
As indicated by Xulejiang, what the customers’ demands is always the source of motivation for Baosteel continual improvement, and the cooperation between Baosteel and FAW has a long history with fastness foundation and abundant achievement. He stressed that with the unprecedented crisis for steel industry, there can be no return back for steel industry structure adjustment and transition development. Taking the strategic cooperation agreement signing as the opportunity, Baosteel will further strengthen the comprehensive cooperation in new material, new technique, new process application, whole process supply value chain, and cross-region service, etc. Baosteel will spare no efforts in propulsion the service development in automobile plate products, closely following the development key for automobile customers to let them feel the value of Baosteel automobile plate. Baosteel will actively respond and research the demands of FAW, in reinforcing in the plan of hydroforming, hot-forming, the research and development for self-brand automobile steel, aluminum plate research and development. They will also promote further development for both parties with practical action and constant improvement to extend and stretch the cooperation field in realizing the supply chain value increase and win-win for both parties.
After the signing ceremony, Xulejiang party also inspected the Baosteel international FAW Baoyou steel processing and distribution center.
