MHI Vestas Confirms Offshore Order in Denmark

MHI Vestas Offshore Wind has been appointed the preferred supplier for an offshore project in Denmark. According to MHI Vestas, Vattenfall has appointed MHI Vestas Offshore Wind preferred supplier for delivery of the V164-8.0 MW turbine for the 400 MW Horns Rev 3 project. MHI Vestas Offshore Wind is a joint venture between Vestas Wind Systems A/S and Mitsubishi Heavy Industries. The company designs, manufactures, installs and services wind turbines for the offshore wind industry.
