Successful Deployment of NT6000 System Supports 489MW Gas Turbine Innovation Demonstration
On January 28th, the SCIYON Smart NT6000 intelligent control system successfully assisted the Jiangyin Gas Turbine Thermal Power Co., Ltd.'s 1×489MW gas turbine innovation and development demonstration project in successfully completing 168 hours of trial operation and officially commencing operation.
This is one of the first batch of national 9F-class gas turbine innovation and development demonstration projects, marking a crucial step forward for my country in the localization and industrialization of heavy-duty gas turbines, injecting strong momentum into the high-level self-reliance and self-strengthening of energy equipment.
As a key energy project in Jiangsu Province's "14th Five-Year Plan" and a major industrial project for Jiangsu Province and Wuxi City, this project adopts Shanghai Electric gas turbine technology, achieving the first-ever localization of core components, fully completing the National Energy Administration's independent innovation demonstration task, and providing strong support for national energy security.
The successful operation of the project will significantly enhance the peak-shaving capacity and emergency response level of the Yangtze River Delta power grid, providing important support for regional energy structure optimization and the construction of a new power system. Simultaneously, the project actively responds to the deployment of energy equipment localization and power structure optimization during the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, laying a solid technical and engineering foundation for connecting with the "15th Five-Year Plan" for energy development and continuously promoting the green transformation of the power system.
SCIYON Intelligent provided the project with an integrated solution covering the NT6000 intelligent control system (DCS+DEH), SIS/MIS management system, and other advanced applications such as intelligent monitoring and operation optimization. It also integrated the APS one-click start/stop function, which greatly reduced the difficulty of operation and significantly improved the automation and intelligence level of the unit, providing a solid guarantee for the safe, efficient and stable operation of this major project.
