Birmingham, Ala. - Motion Industries, a leading distributor of industrial maintenance, repair, and operation (MRO) replacement parts, and a wholly owned subsidiary of Genuine Parts Company (NYSE: GPC), ranked #1 in Power Transmission & Bearings in Modern Distribution Management's 2016 MDM Market Leaders and Distribution Trends Special Issue for the seventh consecutive year. Motion also moved up in MDM's Top 40 Industrial Distributors list from the #6 position in the 2015 report to #4 in 2016, and ranked #2 in the Fluid Power category.
