China First 1500℃ Single-Shaft Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine Enters Full Commercial Operation
On November 28, China's first 1500℃-class single-shaft heavy-duty gas turbine project—the Datang Chongqing Jiangjin Gas Turbine Project—was put into full-capacity operation, filling the gap in China's "F"-class improved single-shaft heavy-duty gas turbines.
Unit 2 of the Datang Chongqing Jiangjin Gas Turbine Project successfully passed its 168-hour trial operation. All main and auxiliary equipment operated stably, all parameters met design specifications, and all environmental indicators complied with national standards.
The project consists of two 546,800 kW "one-to-one" single-shaft gas-steam combined cycle generator units, with a total installed capacity of 1,093,600 kW. The project features over 90% domestically produced equipment, a combined cycle efficiency of 61.74%, and nitrogen oxide emissions during normal operation are better than national standards due to the use of high-efficiency, low-carbon burners.
