Recently, the list of Zhejiang Province's 2025 Pollution and Carbon Reduction Collaborative Projects was officially announced. Two projects from Xinchang Zhejiang Sanhua Intelligent Control Co., Ltd. and SKF (Xinchang) Bearing & Precision Technology Co., Ltd. were successfully selected, setting a new benchmark for the green and low-carbon development of the county's manufacturing industry. The two selected projects focus on two main directions: source substitution of raw and auxiliary materials and resource recycling. They achieve synergistic efficiency in pollution and carbon reduction through technological transformation and model innovation, forging unique green development paths.
Sanhua Intelligent Control, a leading manufacturer of refrigeration and air conditioning equipment, focuses on pollution control at the source of production, investing 12.2 million yuan in a project to substitute low-VOC content raw and auxiliary materials. The project centers on water-based and green transformation, completely replacing traditional oil-based paint with environmentally friendly water-based paint in the product repainting process, and simultaneously discontinuing the use of VOCs catalytic combustion purification equipment; at the same time, it upgrades the cleaning process, replaces it with new cleaning equipment, and eliminates the distillation and reuse process. Through two core upgrades, the company can reduce VOC emissions by approximately 17.4 tons and hazardous waste by 4.54 tons annually, while simultaneously reducing carbon dioxide emissions by 27.3 tons. It also saves nearly 100,000 yuan in production costs, achieving simultaneous improvements in environmental, economic, and product quality benefits.
SKF Xinchang Company, targeting the pain points of lubricant consumption and hazardous waste generation in bearing production, invested 6 million yuan to build a centralized supply and recycling filtration system for grinding fluids and cleaning oils. The project is equipped with professional lubricant regeneration equipment, centrally treating and recycling grinding fluids and cleaning oils used in production. This achieves near-zero oil change rates for lubricants, saving 90% of lubricant annually and reducing waste cutting oil generation by 57.8 tons, effectively avoiding pollutant emissions from hazardous waste incineration. In the resource utilization stage alone, it can reduce carbon dioxide emissions by 300 tons annually and save approximately 1 million yuan in procurement and disposal costs. Furthermore, the factory has achieved 100% green electricity supply at the manufacturing end through rooftop photovoltaics and green electricity procurement, steadily advancing the company's carbon neutrality goals in conjunction with energy-saving renovation technologies.
In recent years, our county has been deeply implementing the "dual-carbon" strategy, guiding industrial enterprises to accelerate their green transformation from end-of-pipe treatment to source control, process optimization, and resource recycling. The successful implementation of these two provincial-level demonstration projects not only showcases the solid achievements of local enterprises' green technological upgrades but also provides replicable and scalable practical experience for pollution and carbon reduction in key industries throughout the county.
Going forward, our county will use these two projects as benchmarks to continuously explore the green development potential of key industries, increase policy support and technology promotion for green technological upgrade projects, and encourage more enterprises to embark on a low-carbon and efficient development path.
