Minebea's Notice regarding Result and Completion of Repurchase of Own Shares

Minebea Co., Ltd. have implemented the repurchase of their own shares pursuant to Article 156 of the Company Law, in accordance with Section 3 of Article 165 of the said law, as described below. They also notify that the repurchase of their own shares conducted pursuant to the relevant resolution at our Board of Directors meeting held on October 31, 2008 has ended with this notice. 1. Period of repurchase: From November 4, 2008 to November 12, 2008 (Contract basis) 2. Type of shares repurchased: Shares of common stock of Minebea Co., Ltd. 3. Aggregate number of shares repurchased: 10,000,000 shares 4. Aggregate amount of repurchase: 3,148,918,000 JPN 5. Method of repurchase: Purchased on the Tokyo Stock Exchange (Reference) Details of the relevant resolution at the Board of Directors meeting held on October 31, 2008: (1) Type of shares to be repurchased: Shares of common stock of Minebea Co., Ltd. (2) Aggregate number of shares to be repurchased: Up to a maximum of 10,000,000 shares (Ratio of aggregate number of shares to be repurchased to number of shares outstanding (excluding treasury shares): 2.51%) (3) Aggregate amount of repurchase: Up to a maximum of 3.5 billion JPY (4) Period of repurchase: From November 4, 2008 to December 16, 2008
