DODGE GRIP TIGHT Mounted Ball Bearings. 17 to 85mm and 1-1/8 to 3-1/2 inch bore in cast iron housings. 20 to 50 mm and 3/4 to 2 inch in stainless steel or polymer housings.

The DODGE GRIP TIGHT#8482; adaptor mount system delivers frustration-free 15 minute fit and removal together with 360° mounting to reduce vibration and to eliminate shaft damage and fretting corrosion. Off the shelf and shaft ready, the DODGE GRIP TIGHT; adaptor (adapter) mount ball bearing is offered for normal and medium duty in a variety of cast iron housing styles, including pillow block; tapped base; two-, three-, and four-bolt flange; piloted flange; take-up. Also available in E-Z KLEEN anti-microbial polymer or stainless steel housing styles for food, pharmaceutical and coolroom applications.

Interchangeable mounting dimensions with most competitive setscrew, eccentric collar and concentric clamp collar products.
Thin-wall adaptor mounting offers 360° full shaft contact and concentricity. No shaft marring or fretting corrosion like setscrew and eccentric collar products. Integral dismount feature easily removes the bearing from the shaft. Turned, ground, and polished shafting is not required.
Proven land-riding Proguard; contact seal with steel shield protection. This highly effective positive seal design assures uniform lip contact with the inner ring to seal out contaminants and seal in lubricants. Single-lip contact seal with flingers (standard), low-drag labyrinth seal (optional).
Anti-rotation device prevents rotation associated with light or rotating loads or high speed applications.
Allows reduced inventory as much as 25-45%. Rather than store a complete line of individual bore sizes for each housing style, you can now purchase a housing assembly and adaptors separately, with the adaptor determining the bore size within a housing series.
Expansion pillow blocks available for popular shaft sizes.
High-temperature option available to 200°C.
Plus or minus 2° static misalignment.
