GGB Heilbronn certified by Rolls-Royce

Rolls-Royce Deutschland Ltd. Co. KG has issued a certificate of approval for GGB Heilbronn to provide it with precision machining, bearings and washers. GGB primarily supplies the company with special metal-polymer bearings for use in jet engines, where their flexibility helps optimize operational procedures. With 3,000 employees and facilities in Dahlewitz bear Berlin and Overursel near Frankfurt am Main, Rolls-Royce Deutschland is the only German company that offers complete development, production and in-service support for aircraft engines. Its BR700 family of engines, distinguished by their low operating cost, ease of maintenance and environmental acceptability, are the first German civilian jet engines to receive international certification. Rolls-Royce customers include more than 500 airlines, 4,000 corporate aircraft operators, 160 armed forces and more than 2,000 marine customers, including 50 navies. The company also has energy customers in nearly 120 countries.
