SKF Honours Authorised Distributors for Business Excellence

SKF, leading global supplier of bearings, seals, mechatronics, services and lubrication systems, recently hosted an annual SKF Distributor Convention, where an Awards Evening was held to honour those Authorised Distributors and Partners for outstanding performances throughout 2010.
Citi Bearings Vereeniging won the Industrial Aftermarket Distributor of the Year award, while Citi Bearings Rustenburg was recognised as the Industrial Aftermarket Platform Distributor of the Year, the latter being based on sales volumes for the non-bearing SKF technologies.
Bearing Services Witbank (BSW) won the category of Best Industrial Aftermarket Growth, an award based on the volume for the preceding year exceeding the volume for the current year by a large margin. Charles Sethren, also from Bearing Services went home with the Best Sales Representative Award for 2010. "Our priority as BSW is to offer our customers the best possible service and solutions to their needs and expectations. The success of our branch is due to exceptional teamwork within the organisation," says BSW Manager, Andre Jansen van Vuuren.
With regard to the distributors dedicated to Lubrication Solution products, SKF awarded Ro-Li Lubrication Systems CC, for the second year running, as the Best Lubrication Solutions Distributor for 2010, while Flosolve (Pty) Limited walked away with the Best Growth by a Lubrication Solutions Partner award including the Best Integrated Solutions Selling by a Lubrication Solutions Partner award, based on total number of lubrication solution kits sold in 2010, including, new, repair and service kits.
"The success of these SKF Authorised Distributors and Lubrication Distributors/Partners is testament to the commitment and understanding of customer requirements. They have all demonstrated that a local supplier, offering customers in each region excellent service, good stock availability and quality products, pays dividends. Congratulations to all and good luck for 2012," says Robin Briggs, SKF's Distributor Development Manager.
